The Week Ahead: October 13th

Greetings Dogie Country!

 

Next week is the end of the first quarter for the 2025 school year!  Grades will be due at the end of the day on the 16th.  Report cards will be handed out when you attend parent/teacher conferences on October 21st in the Commons or by appointment by phone or in person on the 23rd.  This is a great time to meet or check in with your student’s teachers and talk to them about their progress in class! 

 

Pictures are around the corner on October 15th!  Picture packets are in the office for students to pick up and bring home.  Seniors will still need to have a school photo taken for their transcripts on that day.  Just an early reminder, Senior Portrait Photos are due February 1st to Mrs. Branscom. 

 

The 3A East Regional Cross Country meet will be hosted here in Newcastle on Thursday October 16th!  Dogie runners will compete beginning at 1:00 pm at Newcastle Country Club. 

 

Every week we have NET Lunch in Mrs. Stanton’s room 224 on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.  Students are welcome to bring food to that room and work on homework or receive support from Mrs. Stanton in a quiet place.
